We are called to be followers of Jesus, not to replace HIm as leader. We are told to pick up our cross daily and follow. As a Christ follower, we become eager student of God's Word. Become Jesus' disciple along with countless others before. Find life in Him.
I met God as a child. I left him as I grew. By his grace, I found him again, rather, he pursued me. He let me go as far as I needed so I'd find my way back.
I'll not leave him again.
Coldplay sings a song called "Fun". There's a line that says, 'Nothing's too broken to find a way back'. And that sums up what happened to me when I found myself on the bathroom floor, crying from grief. God met me there and told me it's never too late to come home.
