God. My One and Only.
The One I can always turn to when I feel myself losing ground-
Jesus. My Lord and Savior. My King.
The One who made it so I can even turn to God.
He welcomes me. He welcomes my repentant heart.
I can turn to God with 100% certainty He welcomes me;
He knows the road ahead.
He sees the dips, the dangers, the turns long before I do.
He’s the One who keeps me from stumbling.
The more I abide in Him, the more His Spirit abides in me.
He welcomes me. He welcomes my repentant heart.
God. The One I can return to-
When I know I’ve fallen short,
When I know I’ve gone back on my word to myself and others,
When I know I’ve sabotaged my own effort,
He welcomes me. He welcomes my repentant heart.
God. My One and Only.
