Bring It All…

Philippians 4:4-7 ESV

Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say rejoice

Let your reasonableness be known to all. The LORD is at hand.

Do not be anxious about anything; but…

In prayer, and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests

Be made know to GOD.

And the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding,

Will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Human hearts and minds need guarding.

The kind of protection only the Creator can offer.

But, how? How can it be obtained?

Paul points the way to peace:

-Rejoice~always~rejoice,

-Don’t be anxious about anything,

(Instead)

-Earnestly pray to God with thanksgiving in your heart,

-Make your requests known directly to God

(Then…)

God’s peace, which is beyond human understanding,

WILL guard your hearts and your minds.

Ask for help.

He will send his Spirit to help you rejoice and pray.

Peace is waiting.
